•  MINISTERIAL AND SABBATH SCHOOL DEPARTMENT (Return)
  
  The Ministerial and Sabbath School Department in a special sense watches over the doctrine which is preached in word and publications to the church and the world.
  
  The area of responsibility of this department includes:
  
  (1)  Management and supervision of all new issues of literature, such as, for example, The Sabbath Watchman, Sabbath School Lessons, doctri­nal material, books, etc., in the General Conference as well as in all unions and fields;
  
  (2) Establishment and advancement of missionary schools;
  
  (3) Conducting of seminars in the different fields;
  
  (4) Advanced training for ministers;
  
  (5) Preparation of handbooks and materials for the gospel work;
  
  (6) Explanation of special points of doctrine and answering of questions which arise concerning doctrine
