• EVANGELISM DEPARTMENT (Return)
  
  The Evangelism Department is to watch over the missionary and evangelistic work in the world so the unions, fields and churches may satisfactorily fulfill the great commission given by Jesus to preach the good news of salvation to the whole world.
  
  This department has the responsibility to:
  
  (1)  Develop the evangelistic ministry in the church-both lay missionary work and public evangelism;
  
  (2)  Develop new methods for personal and public evangelism and improve those already existing;
  
  (3) Provide adequate, updated material for the evangelism work in the languages spoken most frequently in the church;
  
  (4) According to the gifts available, provide training for the work of evangelism;
  
  (5) Prepare and distribute the Evangelism Department plan to the unions, fields and churches;
  
  (6) Cooperate in forming evangelism teams in the unions and fields;
  
  (7) Increase effective communication with all the missionary and evan­gelism leaders;
  
  (8) Supervise the missionary and evangelistic work of the unions and fields;
  
  (9) Coordinate the work of foreign missions and the opening of new fields
