Having received a request letter for food and clothing from our believers in Pura ,Tarlac . The members of Timog Church were given time to clean their closets and to gather cash donation, foods, good shoes and used clothings from our friends and relatives or wherever they could get them. Time passed very quickly and before we knew it when in July 25, 2005, the date set for packing, sorting and distributing the goods had arrived we found out that we gather a great quantity . So Sunday morning all the volunteers believers arrived bright and early in good spirit. Eight families are waiting and were given with these gifts. Furthermore, widows and sick people received cash donations aside from food and clothing from Good Samaritan workers under the leadership of Sis. Grace dela Paz and Sis. Cleotilde Austria. We trust that these goods will help those less fortunate than we . Thanks was expressed to everyone who in anyway contributed to make this endeavors possible whether in giving, sewing, packing ,sorting and distribution. There was an enormous amount of love, dedication, sweat and tears that went into all this planning and work.

CANVASSING EXPERIENCES
Each week 2 to 7 souls gathered to go on canvassing. Sometimes this work is done by individual or group basis from the local churches conducted to various city offices such as banks, school, government agencies and homes. Through their unselfish efforts many souls has now completed a bible study course and accepted the reformation message. Even though sometimes they are rejected they still found many who are thirst for truth. The Lord blessed them for their enthusiasm in selling books ,literature and magazines(Science of Natural Healing authored by Bro. Carlos Kozel and reflexology). Canvassing seminars for aspiring and intern colporteurs was developed and successfully going forward in this place. It made us very happy to see that most of them were young and hard working people.

RADIO EVANGELISM
Angeles City , Pampanga
April 2, 2006
In a special sense Seventh- Day Adventist have been set in the world as watchmen and lightbearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for the perishing world. Yes, its true, How solemn the thoughts and how awesome the responsibility. Think of it we, being so few in numbers will somehow be used of God to reach a world of more than seventy billion people. We are nearing the time when the light of the other angel will penetrate into the outermost part regions of the earth, when all men and women will have to come to term with the great pillars of truth for which we stand. With the help of the Lord, a dream has come true. We in Local Timog church (Angeles City) in cooperation with others local churches here have began an important missionary outreach through a radio program entitled “A BETTER WAY TO HEALTH”. From a 792 watts GVAM radio station in Central Luzon , a message of hope was began to broadcast on April 2, 2006 to potential audience of 8 million people in seven provinces of Luzon. The speaker, Bro. Roland dela Paz and Elder Francis Ortega weekly brings the powerful message of the words of God ranging from health topics to the light of the third angels messages and bible prophecies through the medium of the radio in their one hour program every Sunday 5:30 pm to 6:30 in the evening. The usual format includes a brief health and bible study, a song from the Inspiration Singers and an appeal. Since the beginning of the program many interested people called asking questions regarding a subject they presented on the segment and requesting our publications. Actually as a result one family who heard the reformation message on radio was now attending our Sabbath school program and prayer meeting. Some have visited the church and others we personally met which organized a weekly bible studies. Believers in Angeles City churches have been very supportive of this new challenging ministry. At present the programs goes on successfully because of the contribution of our local brethren who feel a burden to reach out. Many thanks to all who are involved in these noble enterprise. Let us praised the Lord for every innovative idea and precious opportunity that arises among us to get this messages out into the ears and hearts of men. Let us never forget the great commission that the Master left with us “Go ye unto all the world and preach the gospel to every creature”. Mark 16:15. The only purpose of this missionary endeavor is to bring souls to the feet of Jesus and hasten the glorious day of the Lord coming.

REFRESHING TIME FOR THE YOUTH
Clark , Angeles City
May 14, 2007
The anticipated launching of Youth Recreation Fellowship Program organized by the Youth Dept. of Local Timog Church in coordination with the Union and Luzon Mission field Youth dept. had been planned to take placed on May 14, 2007. On Sunday morning three vans were taken by the young people with the guidance of the elders to Clark camping ground, a really quiet and scenic area located in Angeles City, Pampanga was become the restful setting for outdoor Christian fellowship. This is a mountainous place where adults, young people and children were able to spend a nice time in nature among the trees . The trip was approximately one hour long , altogether there were 40 church members attended , 26, youth, 9 adults, and 5 children present. We were also glad to have a couple of visitors and friends of some of the brethren who came along. Young men and women from different local reformed churches were invited to participate. It was very happy to have them and had the wonderful opportunity to interact with other young people, share the day together for exchanging thoughts and experiences and make friendship. Sis. Marlie Galo. Local Timog church youth dept.leader served as the presider and opened the program by warmly welcoming all who had come.

We begun the morning with joyful expressions of praise and gratitudes through singing a hymns ”Seek Ye First” followed a prayer offered by Sis. Cleotilde Austria. Our speaker , Luzon Missionfield Youth Leader, Bro. Roland dela Paz stressed the necessity of outdoor recreation which when true to its name tend to strengthen and build up. He pointed out that we are made for action. We need exercise, fresh air, sunshine, period of rest, contemplation and retreat. God has wonderfully created our mind and bodies so it is important that we not let this delicate machinery become worn by cares, perplexities and toils. It is a privilege and duty of a Christian to refresh their spirits and invigorate their bodies for the purpose of using their physical and mental powers for the glory of God. By seeing, hearing ,feeling and touching the things of God we may able to know what it really means to live with Him. It was noted also that the blessed occasion was a special time for young and old people to get acquainted ,grow in their physical and social life and to prepare for the great day of our Lord's coming. He kindly added the training will be the stepping stone in helping to establish our individual relationship with God as well as our love and unity with each other. Next we arrange and separated all participant into four group and let them choose a fruit name that will identify their team. Our educational activities proceeded afterward which proved very challenging, practical and interesting. We balance the mental and physical exercises with a bit of practical labor- missionary work. This was the most exciting part when we go to people distributed our literature, pamphlets and tracts presenting our Creator and asking them to believe the Son of God. Most of the children and young people were carrying and giving an invitation card explaining our mission and informing the masses about our local broadcast radio ministry. Wonderful effect began to happen in souls that were interested who asked for more bible information and studies. Everything has been well organized.

The energetic youth singers inspired the sweet fellowship with spiritual songs. Thereafter lunch time came potluck was served , we sat down on the grass under the shades of the tree and enjoyed a healthy vegetarian meal. The food was excellent and a wonderful spirit in all has been shown. Later in the afternoon., we continued the program, children, youth and even adult played various social exercises, that takes a lot of skills including special music and cheering composition, learning bible books, places, events ,people and stories, scriptures quizzes /drill was conducted, collecting and classifying object lesson from nature. The workshop period followed with art and crafts making led by Sis. Marlie Galo, Sis. Rachel Austria , Si. Chit dela Paz ,Bro. Roland dela Paz and Elder Francis Ortega..This is of course one of the interesting part of all because they like to use their hands and simple material like wood, bamboo and leaves to make something pretty, useful and meaningful. This includes also fire building, bread baking, cooking food like rice placed in bamboo without using pot, frying the egg in a paper bond, egg toasting through the aid of wooden stick and other way such as roasting the egg underground. This activities gives so much fun for the people. As an appreciation during these time, Sis. Chit dela Paz was charged for the awarding ceremony on various accomplishment based on accumulated points of talents in reasoning ,intelligence, practical skill and Christian traits shown by the players such as friendliness, cheerfulness ,tact and courtesy. As the day came to close, each was given an opportunity to expressed what are the new things they have learned that can help them throughout life. The last hours was very special as Elder Francis Ortega, Phil. Union Youth dept. Leader expressed heartfelt gratitudes for everybody who contributes and participated actively in these endeavor. Encouraged by the interest displayed by the young people, he firmly believed that this program could become a nurturing ground that could foster support and understanding during the adolescent years. But most importantly as young people rightly trained this could be the greatest resource for the highest in the Master service and for fellowmen. He was quite enthusiastic about the development of this project and proposed to adopt these training program around the country. Then we knelt down for prayer thanking God for His providence and trusting the Almighty to deliver His children from temptations. The recreation turned out successful and rewarding than we expected. May the Lord continue to bless this effort to further His cause and give grace and wisdom to each youth who are truly searching for the meaning of life with God.
