Express offering
"Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring
me an offering: of every man that giveth it
willingly with his heart ye shall take my offering."

Dear brothers and sisters, leaders, and committee members of the Fields and Unions:
May the peace of the Lord be with you. We greet you with Matthew 24:14:
"And this gospel of
the kingdom shall be
preached in all the world
for a witness unto all
nations; and then shall
the end come."
Over the last few years, thanks to the Lord's help, the work has expanded in several new countries. Some months ago, the work began in Samoa and Nepal. Furthermore, the work is in its beginning stages in Mongolia, Benin, Ethiopia, Nigeria, Japan, and other countries. At the same time, the membership is quickly growing in other places where the work has already been established. There is a great need for churches, schools, headquarters' |
buildings, and publishing houses. We are doing our best to cover these needs through the donations announced in the Special Sabbath School Offerings.
However, the work is advancing much faster than the income received from the above-mentioned donations. Therefore, the Committee of the General Conference decidedto present, to all the believers and churches, this petition for special offerings. The following countries are in need of meeting places and headquarters’ buildings:
1.Mongolia
US $20,000 to obtain a church building.
2.Nepal
US $20,000 to obtain a church building.
3.Seychelles
US $50,000 to obtain a church building.
4.Samoa
US $20,000 to obtain a church building.
5.Benin
US $20,000 to obtain a headquarters’ building.

6.Congo
US $50,000 to obtain aheadquarters 'building.
7.Ghana
US $15,000 to obtain a headquarters’ building.
8.Burundi
US$20,000 to complete the headquarters' building.
9.Rwanda
US$ 10,000 to obtain a headquarters' building
Total:US$225,000
If, for the cause of the Lord and for the glory of His name, 5 brothers or sisters should decide to donate US $10,000, 22 brothers or sisters should decide to donate US $5,000, 30 brothers or sisters should decide to donate US $1,000, 50 brothers or sisters should decide to donate US $500, and 100 brothers or sisters should decide to donate US $100, we would be able to cover these countries' needs.
Other amounts will, of course, be accepted as well.
Unions and Fields are also welcome to contribute for these importantprojects.

Every person who contributes more than US $1,000 will be particularly informed about which of these projects the donation has been assigned to, and when the amount was transferred to the respective country. Pictures of the various projects will be published in the General Conference's offi cial publications.
